Introducing the JobPLT CV Builder: a CV in the format each country expects

Build your CV for India, Germany, Australia or the UAE with five local templates per country, a live preview, a formatting toolbar and one-click PDF and Word downloads.

A CV that works well in Bengaluru can look odd to a recruiter in Munich, and one that works well in Munich can break the norms in Sydney. Photos, dates of birth, signatures, referees, visa status, even what the sections are called: each country has its own conventions, and recruiters notice when you don't follow them.

That's why we built the JobPLT CV Builder. You choose the country you're applying to first, and everything that follows uses that country's format.

Step 1: choose the country

When you create a CV, the first question is "Where are you applying?" You choose one of four countries:

Country What changes
🇮🇳 India Optional photo, grouped core expertise, personal details and a signed declaration in the traditional templates
🇩🇪 Germany A tabular Lebenslauf: dates in a left column, MM/YYYY dates, a professional photo, CEFR language levels, and "Ort, Datum, Unterschrift" at the end; headings in German or English
🇦🇺 Australia No photo or date of birth, a line stating your work rights, and referees (or "available on request")
🇦🇪 UAE A professional photo, nationality, visa status, notice period and driving licence

Each country card also shows the usual length and whether a photo is expected, so you know what you're aiming for before you start.

Step 2: choose one of five templates

Every country has five templates, each previewed with a realistic sample CV, for example:

You can switch template at any time without losing anything you've written, so there's no risk in picking one to start with.

Start from the CV you already have

If you've uploaded a CV to JobPLT, the builder can start from it. It copies your name, email, phone, LinkedIn, skills and summary. If your CV groups skills by category (for example "Cloud: AWS, Azure"), lists certifications or has a domain-experience section, it brings those across too. You then fill in or polish the rest.

Editing that feels like a word processor

Sections that fit your career

Open Manage sections to:

The section names you set are used everywhere: in the editor, the section list, the preview and both downloads.

Download as PDF or Word

When you're done, download your CV as:

Files are named after you, for example Anna-Schmidt-Lebenslauf.pdf for a German CV.

Applying to more than one country?

Use Copy for… to make a copy of your CV in another country's format. Your experience, education and skills come with it, and the copy uses that country's template, section names and personal details. For example, you can turn a German Lebenslauf into an Australian résumé without retyping anything.

Try it

Open the CV Builder, pick a country and see your CV take shape. When it's ready, search for jobs that match it.
