Free CV builder with 100 templates: build your CV for India, Germany, Australia or the UAE

Build a CV free with 100 templates for nurses, teachers, engineers, IT, trades and freshers. No watermark, no sign-up, PDF and Word download.

Most "free" CV builders stop being free at the download button, add a watermark, or give you one generic template that ignores where you're applying. The JobPLT CV Builder is free from start to finish and has 100 templates: 25 for each of India, Germany, Australia and the UAE. Each one follows that country's conventions and is made for a particular job or career stage.

This guide shows how to build your CV step by step and how to pick the right template.

How to build your CV in 5 steps

1. Choose the country you're applying to

Open the CV Builder and click Create my first CV. The first question is "Where are you applying?". This matters more than people expect: a German recruiter expects a tabular Lebenslauf with a photo and a signature, an Australian recruiter expects no photo or date of birth, and a Dubai recruiter wants to see your visa status and notice period up front.

2. Pick one of 25 templates

Each country has 25 templates. Use the category filters (Healthcare, IT & Technology, Students & Graduates, Engineering & Trades, Senior & Executive and more) or search for your job, for example nurse, teacher, FIFO or CTET.

Choose the template made for your job rather than a generic one. Templates for regulated jobs put the credential recruiters check first right at the top, for example:

Your job Template What it puts first
Nurse in Australia Nursing (AHPRA) AHPRA registration number, type and expiry
Teacher in India School Teacher (B.Ed / CTET) B.Ed, CTET/TET scores, subjects and classes taught
Doctor in Dubai Healthcare (DHA / DOH / MOHAP) Licence or eligibility and DataFlow status
Apprentice in Germany Ausbildung (Azubi) School education, internships, hobbies and volunteering
Electrician in Australia Trades & Construction Licences and tickets: White Card, trade licence, EWP
Property broker in Dubai Real Estate & Brokerage RERA certificate and Broker Registration Number

Not sure? Pick any template. You can change it later without losing anything.

3. Start from your existing CV (optional)

If you've uploaded a CV to JobPLT, choose it under Start from an uploaded CV. The builder copies your name, contact details, skills, summary and certifications, so you only fill in the rest.

4. Fill in each section

The editor lists your sections on the left and shows the finished page on the right. Each section has a short tip for your country and template. A few things that make a big difference:

5. Download as PDF or Word

Click PDF for applications and portals, or Word when a recruiter asks for an editable file. Not sure which to send? Read PDF or Word: which CV format to send.

Choosing the right template for your country

Each country guide lists all 25 templates and who they're for:

Working in healthcare? Our healthcare CV templates for nurses and doctors compares the licences each country checks.

Applying to more than one country?

Build your CV once, then use Copy for… to create a copy in another country's format. Your experience, education and skills come with it, and the copy follows the new country's rules. For example, the photo and date of birth are left out when you copy a German Lebenslauf to an Australian résumé. More in one CV, many countries.

Check your CV, then find matching jobs

Once your CV is ready, upload it to Find Jobs to get a free CV score with improvement tips and a list of jobs ranked by how well they match it, from LinkedIn, Indeed, local job portals and company career pages.

Frequently asked questions

Is the JobPLT CV builder really free?

Yes. Choosing a template, writing your CV, the live preview and the PDF and Word downloads are all free, with no watermark and no trial that runs out.

Do I need to sign up to build a CV?

No. You can start straight away as a guest. Guest CVs are deleted when you sign out, close the browser or after 2 hours without activity, so sign in with Google if you want to keep your CV and come back to it later.

Can I download my CV as a Word document?

Yes. Every template downloads as a PDF and as an editable Word (.docx) file built from real paragraphs, lists and tables, so recruiters and applicant tracking systems can read it.

How many CV templates are there?

100: twenty-five for each of India, Germany, Australia and the UAE. Each one is made for a kind of job or career stage, such as nursing, teaching, trades, IT, government jobs, freshers or senior executives.

Can I change the template after I've written my CV?

Yes, at any time. Your text stays as it is, and if the new template has its own sections (for example AHPRA Registration for nurses in Australia) they are added for you.

Are the templates ATS-friendly?

Yes. The text in the PDF is real, selectable text, and every country has plain single-column templates such as Plain ATS (Naukri / LinkedIn), Plain ATS (SEEK) and Modern ATS for job portals that parse CVs automatically.
